LAND PLANNING SERVICES

LAND PLANNING SERVICES

Pioneer’s Land Planning Department staff includes land planners, landscape architects, arborists, wetland specialists, urban foresters and graphic specialists. Our approach to site-sensitive design employs Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technology, intensive site evaluation, sensitivity to environmental issues and knowledge of regulatory agency requirements. The land planning process begins with determination of client goals, research of government requirements, site analysis and concept plans. We then contact appropriate regulatory agencies and study infrastructure availability. These preliminary steps lead to concept drawings that explore development potential and project feasibility. The results are final designs and plans that are passed on to Pioneer’s project team that includes staff from the Civil Engineering and Land Survey Departments for the construction phase of development.

An experienced registered landscape architect continues to work with the client and the Pioneer project team throughout the project to provide a successful development experience.
